The Ruling Class

The Ruling Class

A 1960s manor living room is flooded with light. Surrounded by Victorian values, the audience is suddenly greeted by a magnanimous hippy – floating and grazing around the upper-classes living beyond the age in which they belong. He’s likeable, witty, and carefree. He also thinks he’s the Lord God reincarnate. The Ruling Class is a dark, witty, and satirical comedy that probes the hypocrisies of the ‘upper echelons’ of British society. It’s a comedy about class, nationalism, and capitalism. Hallelujah!
