Pirandello’s Henry IV

Pirandello’s Henry IV

A Tom Stoppard take on Luigi Pirandello’s classic exploration of the fine line between madness and sanity. Become immersed in the candle-lit world of a modern individual who has robed himself in the identity of the medieval Holy Roman Emperor Henry IV.

As patience wears thin with his insanity, the woman he loved, her new lover, and a psychiatrist arrive with a plan to force his recovery. But is ‘Henry’ really mad? This new pacey and comedic production veers across the boundaries of present and past, reason and madness, reality and masquerade.
