Some people sing through life … others only mime.

Melody is a happy person. Every day, for 30 years, she’s been the smiley face and the cheery greeting at Ocean View’s reception desk. When she wins a free singing lesson in the staff raffle, Melody is overjoyed. But in the course of one hour, her carefully constructed life begins to unravel, revealing the dark secrets that lurk behind the ‘have a nice day’.
This 75-minute tale of secrets, passions and buttered digestives is vividly created by a cast of two, accompanied by writer Nia Williams, whose previously staged musicals include ‘Daddy’s GIrls’ and ‘Verity’.

Starring Marilyn Moore as Melody and Guy Brigg as everyone else, and directed by Wayne Brown.
