Child Migrant Stories

Child Migrant Stories

Three short films that explore poignant stories of historic and contemporary child migration from Caribbean children who came over as part of the Windrush generation in the 1960s, those who left by boat from Vietnam in the late 1970s and Syrian children today who have settled on the Isle of Bute in Scotland. The films have been co-produced with child migrants drawing on their personal testimonies, musical and artistic skills.

The screening is followed by a Q&A with filmmakers including Eithne Nightingale and Mitchell Harris from award-winning Child Migrant Stories.

We will also be joined by members of Refugee Resource who will share some of their experiences with us.

Duration: 1 hour 30mins with no interval
