Beethoven: Eroica

Beethoven: Eroica

Join Instruments of Time and Truth for a journey into uncharted territory as Oxford’s own period orchestra performs two of Beethoven’s masterworks.

Croatian virtuoso, Bojan Cicic, will lead the orchestra in the Violin Concerto, alongside which Edward Higginbottom will put his unmistakeable stamp on the Promethean struggle embodied by the Third Symphony.

At once humane, majestic, tender, resolute, and joyous, the experience of hearing this sublime music played by this superb band of instrumental soloists is not to be missed.

Violin Concerto in D major, op. 61

Symphony no. 3 in E flat major (Eroica), op. 55

 Violin Soloist: Bojan Cicic

Conductor: Edward Higginbottom
