A Celebration of Christmas

Begin your Christmas celebrations with this well-loved and established festival of seasonal words and music at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford on Friday 9th December.

Together with family and friends, enjoy a star-studded evening of uplifting and imaginative music by the world-renowned choir Schola Cantorum, as well as readings by (*) Freddie Jones, Gemma Jones, Toby Jones, Jeany Spark, and Kevin Whately. In celebration of the event’s twentieth anniversary, we are also delighted to welcome composer and soloist Roderick Williams as a special guest.

A Celebration of Christmas is run, entirely by volunteers, to raise funds to support a Macmillan nurse in Oxfordshire.  We are proud to say that this popular event has raised over £500,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support in the last 20 years.

We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a spectacular occasion and recommend early booking, as last year was a sellout.

* performance commitments permitting
