Richard Pinel is an organist and choral conductor, Professor of Organ at the Royal Academy of Music and Director of Music at St Mary’s, Bourne Street. Until December 2022 he was the Director of Music at Jesus College, Cambridge. Prior to this, Richard was Assistant Director of Music at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, and he previously held the organ scholarship at St Albans Cathedral.
Richard is also on the teaching staff at Eton College, and is a regular tutor on Oundle for Organists courses. He regularly collaborates with saxophonist, Christian Forshaw in his Sanctuary project. Solo recitals have taken him across the UK, recently at the Temple Church, the Windsor Festival, St Albans and Durham Cathedrals and further afield Europe and the USA.
