City of Oxford Choir

Love’s Philosophy

Conducted by Duncan Aspden

Tickets £15

The City of Oxford Choir present a captivating programme exploring divine love across cultures and faiths. From the radiant lyricism of Ian Assersohn and Cecelia McDowall to the mystical soundworlds of Holst, Parry, and Arvo Pärt, this concert journeys through music that is at once intimate, transcendent, and deeply moving. American composer Jake Runestad and the heartfelt devotion of Poulenc add further colour to this tapestry of voices.

Join us for an evening of choral music that contemplates love in its purest, most eternal form.
