Welcome to Julius Caesar performed as a one-act play by the Senior Students at d’Overbroeck’s. Themes of betrayal, manipulation of the masses, and political turmoil seem as relevant now as they did in Caesar’s (and Shakespeare’s) day. Our students bring this connection to life by presenting Shakespeare’s work but set in the world of 2025.

The play explores Julius Caesar and his tragic downfall. The play's rich dialogue sees figures like Brutus and Antony twist the mob, whilst Cassius seems to deceive even those closest to him. Yet, our version is very much an ensemble piece, as our students hold the stage together throughout the whole play.
