‘My first memories are related to my father playing the piano, my mother singing, and Rubinstein playing Chopin Waltzes…I fell in love with that combination and it's very deep into my roots …’ Ingrid Fliter

Argentinian pianist Ingrid Fliter has been linked with Chopin’s music all her life. It was present through her childhood, an important part of her training, and in 2000 she won Silver Medal at the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition. She has performed Chopin’s works across Europe and the Americas and recorded his piano sonatas, piano concertos, preludes, nocturnes, waltzes and more. We are thrilled that for her first appearance in the International Piano Series, Ingrid Fliter brings us an all-Chopin programme.
