A summer spectacular with music, fireworks, Spitfire, parachutes, cannons and cavalry!

Pack a picnic, chill some fizz and join an afternoon and evening of sublime music and dramatic displays at the 19th annual Blenheim Palace Battle Proms Concert.

Enjoy a full 2 hour orchestral concert from the New English Concert Orchestra, including modern pieces such as The Dam Busters March, The Downton Abbey Theme and Gerswhin’s Summertime (performed by star soprano Denise Leigh), complemented by a host of classical pieces you know and love such as Elgar’s Nimrod and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, with the Battle Proms signature percussion of ground-shaking live cannon fire! The evening concludes with a ‘last night of the proms’ flag-waving sing-along with favourites such as Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory and more under a sky of breath-taking fireworks.

The extensive programme also includes the Battle Proms Belles who will get toes tapping with their gorgeous vintage harmonies and live band, thrilling historic mounted cavalry displays, a choreographed aerial display from the legendary Grace Spitfire, The British Army’s world-famous Red Devils parachute display team, 200 live firing cannons and, of course, spectacular musical fireworks.
