For the penultimate concert of his 2026 Oxford Summer Piano Series, now in its 38th year, award-winning pianist JACK GIBBONS presents the second of two concerts tracing the extraordinary life and music of FRÉDÉRIC CHOPIN. Gibbons' programme will include music composed by Chopin at the monastery in Majorca, and played by the composer in his final concerts in Paris and England and Scotland. Music to include Scherzo no.3, 'Heroic' Polonaise Op.53, Barcarolle, Berceuse, Tarantelle, plus a selection of impromptus, mazurkas, preludes and waltzes.
