Service of Nine Lessons and Carols


Christmas celebrations begin with the Services of Nine Lessons and Carols at Christ Church Cathedral. These ever-popular services will take place at 7.30pm on Saturday 23 December 2017 and 3pm on Christmas Eve in Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford.

Tickets must be posted or collected from Oxford Playhouse in advance. It will not be possible to collect tickets at Christ Church on the day.
Doors open 1 hour before each service. Seats will be held until 20 minutes before each service and then released to those waiting without tickets.

There is no dress code. Babies and children are welcome. Under 2s (as long as they do not require a seat) do not need a ticket.


General booking opens at 10am on Monday 20th November. If you have been given a priority code please enter it on the next page.

Tickets are limited to 4 per person. Any bookings made beyond that will be cancelled.
