This is the first lecture in a short series about Symbolism in Art History, specifically in Europe for the last 2000 years. The subject is the Rose in art and architecture.

The lecture will end with a Q & A about its subject – the Rosa in Art and Architecture after 10 years of field research. The many interpretations of the image of the Rose along with its conjuring mysteries are based on intricate architectural patterns & have captivated the thirst of knowledge of many seekers.

Researchers, authors, academics and artists together have placed interest in the beauty of this flower pattern. The mysterious symbol of the Rose, specifically in Christianity, is now more than ever a subject of dispute and discussion, including motion picture series related to Leonardo da Vinci and the wide-spread Gothic Churches of Europe.

This Short velvety lecture in time and space reveals the Symbolism of the Rose throughout the History of Art for the past two millennia. With specifics on the European continent, Rosa Immortalis is cropping out the truth of the primary force of creation along with its sole creator in our time-space lapse.

We will sail through a few images of past, present and future of Christianity and beyond.

The showcased images are attentively chosen reflecting the original Design in Art, Painting, Word, and Architecture - in a Matrix of society thick as tar over the viewer’s eyes.

We will be happily open to a dialogue with Q & A at the end.

Duration: 2 hours inc Q&A
