This year Headington School presents a lower school production of Alice in Wonderland, an immersive promenade performance set around the school grounds. Join Alice on her adventure into Wonderland and meet Carroll's immortal band of children and of creatures and of Kings, of Queens and Duchesses and such-like things. Behold a dormouse and a treacle-well! A hare, a hatter, and a dish of tart, and all the glory of the court of hearts! The audience is invited to picnic in Davenport gardens before the performance begins, they will then follow the White Rabbit down the Rabbit-Hole to Wonderland.
Once there they will meet some of Carroll’s best-loved characters. This performance embraces the magic of Carroll’s classic tale and promises to take you on a journey that will be hard to forget.
"I can’t think what this place can be! I fell and fell till I thought I must be somewhere near the centre of the earth."
