This is a rare opportunity for you to experience live this highly popular and moving work. The War Requiem is often compared to Verdi’s Requiem, but Britten used the poems of Wilfred Owen to achieve even greater emotional intensity. This performance marks the 90th Anniversary of the end of the 1914-18 War.

Beethoven's Final and greatest Piano Concerto has a unique blend of pysical and spiritual energy, epitomising humanity's capacity to triumph over adversity. This 'emperor among concertos' is the perfect foil to the genial 4th Symphony. Marios Papdopolous is once again soloist and conductor.
